阿萊奇，圍繞著最大高山冰川的地區。這裡有阿爾卑斯山最壯觀、最受歡迎的冰雪長流――阿萊奇冰川 (Aletsch Glacier)。阿萊奇冰川景致壯觀而雄偉，長 23 公里，平均闊度 1800 公尺，在過去數千年來，持續塑形、影響著阿萊奇地區的整體地形景觀。這裡容易抵達，是長途遠足、冬季運動和特色短途旅行的理想之地。由於其美景超凡脫俗，瑞士阿爾卑斯少女峰 - 阿萊奇地區于 2001 年被聯合國教科文組織列入世界遺產名錄。
 
The Aletsch Arena consists of high snowy mountains and remarkable glaciers. It has another famous landmark the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps. With its length of about 23 km, and an average width of 1.8 kilometres, the glacier has anchored the area’s overall view, while also serving as an accessible location for winter sports and short stays. As a landscape of extraordinary beauty, the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch Region was included in the list of UNESCO World Natural Heritage sites in 2001.
 
 
About the illustrator

農夫。本名陳釗霖，馬來西亞插畫家。
目前主要替出版社及報社畫插畫，偶爾做些平面設計。
發表過個人圖文書《孤獨症》。
 
Tan Chao Ling, nicknamed “Farmer”, is a Malaysian illustrator.
 
He works mainly on producing illustrations for publications and newspapers while dabbling in some graphic design. 
 
He has published his picture book, “The Loneliness Syndrome”.
